New Hospital Groundbreaking Media Coverage
It was a significant occasion when ground was broken on the first full-service hospital built in Cincinnati in more than 25 years. And we planned the entire event - from selecting the table arrangements to preparing the speakers to inviting the appropriate news media.
Thanks to our efforts, the event received great press coverage from local and regional news media as well as some targeted architectural and health care trade publications.
Miracle Baby Media Coverage
Doctors called the baby a medical miracle. Just two weeks after becoming pregnant, a woman suffered head injuries in a car wreck and fell into a coma. While she remained in a coma throughout her entire pregnancy, she somehow delivered a healthy full-term baby girl. At the time of her delivery, doctors said this was one of the only cases ever in the United States of a woman delivering a baby while remaining in a coma throughout the entire gestation period.
The story attracted both local and national media attention. Together with our media relations colleagues, we responded to an extremely high volume of media inquiries and arranged media interviews with outlets such as CNN, The Today Show, Good Morning America, USA Today and many others.
Newspaper Feature Story
The following newspaper feature story highlights a new procedure available for the first time in the nation. We worked with our client to promote this achievement, and the story was covered by multiple print and television outlets.
Business Partnership Announcement
We are experts in helping clients identify newsworthy stories within their own organizations - stories the news media will cover.
News releases are just one of the many tactics we use as a method of sharing our client's news and activities with the news media and other audiences. Here's an example of a press release that was written to achieve positive attention of a client's activities when they joined forces with another organization.
Introduction of New Technology
New products, services or developments are always something the news media are interested in - especially when they are unique in some way. In some situations, a press conference is a great way to share major news developments with multiple media outlets. Yet at other times, targeted pitches to specific reporters are the best way to raise a client's profile through a positive news story.
In this example, we announced a new type of technology (a new pacemaker) available for the first time regionally. When we offered the story to reporters, we had already arranged to have a physician and a patient available for interviews. We also had video b-roll and photographs available for the reporters who covered the story - everything they needed to make their story complete.
